Mercedes Designs the Most Noiseless Interior In the World on the 2015 S-Coupe

Have you ever been in a car that feels like a vacuum inside? Sitting inside the all-new 2015 Mercedes Benz S-CLass Coupe gives you that experience. The full size luxury two-doors interior remains mysteriously silent.

Mercedes says that based on its wind tunnel testing, the 2015 S-Class Coupe has the quietest interior in the world in terms of wind noise, including ultra-luxury models from Bentley, Rolls-Royce and Mercedes’ own (now defunct) sister brand Maybach, says Teddy Woll, Mercedes chief engineer for aerodynamics. That's awesome.
This baby is based on the new S-Class saloon and is believed to replace the CL-Class.The bodywork is all new with sharp creases and a long bonnet, sloping roof and a neat spoiler integrated into the boot lid.
All S-Class Coupe models feature intelligent headlamps, and the daytime running lights and indicator repeaters feature Swarowski crystals to produce a clearer light. They also get a glass panoramic sunroof which in no way impedes on rear practicality. The sunroof can also be specced with Mercedes' 'Magic Sky' sunroof, which darkens the glass at the touch of a button.
The S-Class Coupe is being powered by a 5.5-litre bi-turbo V8 with 449 horsepower and 516lp/ft torque and is able to go from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds.
The chesty-sounding AMG version drops the 0-60 scoot to an improbable 3.9 seconds, with a 186-mph top speed from its 577-horsepower 5.5-liter bi-turbo and speedshift MCT 7-speed automatic. -automobilemag
The S550 4Matic Coupe has a 449-horsepower V8 and a starting price of $116,600. The S63 AMG 4Matic Coupe, with a 577-hp V8, starts at $154,600. An even pricier and more powerful version, called the S65 AMG 4Matic Coupe, features an insane 621-horsepower V12 engine and will start at $215,500 when it goes on sale toward the end of the year. - forbes.com
