Michael Carrick pulls out of England squad due to injury - skysports

Michael Carrick has withdrawn from the England squad due to a calf injury, casting doubt on his availability for Manchester United's clash with Liverpool on Saturday.
The 34-year-old was expected to feature for Roy Hodgson's side in their Euro 2016 qualifying match with Switzerland at Wembley on Tuesday having been an unused substitute for the 6-0 thrashing of San Marino on Saturday.
Carrick's injury is yet to be specified, but Hodgson revealed that he had been left out as precaution and he did not believe the problem to be a serious one.
